The biggest vehicle in our fleet
Our 7 seater class is a long-wheelbase people carrier, listed in our fleet as the Minibus Car. It is the vehicle to book when a group is too big for an MPV or when luggage is the problem rather than passengers. Every seat faces a window, there is a proper boot behind the rear row, and the whole group travels together on a single fare.
Space for up to 8 passengers and 6 cases
The vehicle carries up to 8 passengers, 6 large suitcases and 4 hand bags. Seven passengers with full holiday luggage is the most comfortable fit. If you are eight people, keep the bags a little lighter, or tell us and we will check the best arrangement. Bulky items such as golf clubs, bikes in bags, wheelchairs and musical equipment should always be mentioned when you book.
When to book a 7 seater taxi
- Group airport transfers. Extended families, stag and hen groups, and sports teams flying from Stansted, Luton, Gatwick or Heathrow. Our longest airport runs, to Stansted and Luton, are where one large vehicle saves the most money compared with two cars.
- Weddings and celebrations. Guests shuttled between the ceremony, the reception and the hotel, or a group returning home after the party.
- Corporate travel. Teams travelling together to meetings, conferences or a client site, with time to talk on the way.
- Day trips. Days at the coast, at major sporting venues or in central London, without the stress of parking a second car.
- Shared school runs. Several families sharing one school run taxi.
7 seater or 6 seater?
If you are six people or fewer with normal luggage, the 6 seater taxi is usually the better value. Choose the 7 seater when there are seven or eight passengers, or six passengers with more than four large cases. Not sure? Call us with the numbers and we will tell you honestly which fits.
Fixed fares, booked in advance
You will see the fare before you confirm. Because larger vehicles are in high demand during school holidays and on Friday and Saturday evenings, book as early as you can. For airport pickups, add your flight number so we can track it, and choose meet and greet if you would like the driver to wait inside arrivals.
Planning a group journey
For group trips, share the booking details with everyone in advance: pickup time, address and the driver's contact. If people are joining from different addresses, give us every stop in order, and we will include them in the fixed fare. For events, book the return trip at the same time and agree a meeting point that is easy for the driver to reach.
